Who to contact and When!

We are very keen to ensure that as a school we are in regular communication with all parents and other stakeholders in our school. There are a number of ways that you can contact the school as outlined below.

 

The first port of call for any child should be the classteacher who will be around at the start and end of most days for a quick chat or to schedule a meeting for a longer discussion. Communication with the class teacher can be by letter or email as described below.

 

If there is a greater concern about a child then there is a member of our Middle Leadership Team responsible for each Key Stage of our school:

 

Mrs Lake - Cygnets

Miss Edwards - Swans and Year 2

Miss Stratford - Year 3, 4, 5 & 6

 

If you are seriously concerned about an issue or feel that it has not been dealt with please contact our Senior Leadership Team : Mr Laing (Deputy Headteacher) or Mr Samuel (Headteacher).

 

The school office are able to deal with matters arising during the school day or relating to non-class based issues such as clubs, lunches etc.

 

In the event that you are very concerned about something taking place in school please contact the Chair of Governors, Mr Roy Cooper who can be contacted through the school office.

 

We are part of Surrey County Council and below is the approved complaints procedure.

E-mail Communication


E-mail is a great method of keeping in touch and sharing information. If you would like to email the school please use the office e-mail address which is info@walton-on-the-hill.surrey.sch.uk. We will then pass the message on to the relevant member of staff.
