Wellbeing and Mental Health is always a priority – however during these unpredictable times having a focus upon wellbeing and health is essential. The Lockdown and general uncertainties of life at present will not only be having an impact on the wellbeing of the adults in our school community, but also likely to be having an impact on children’s wellbeing. I shared the link to an assembly I have created to introduce the national ‘Children’s Mental Health Week’ which runs from 1st February to 7th February 2021. The theme of this year's Children’s Mental Health Week is Express Yourself.
Expressing yourself is about finding ways to share feelings, thoughts, or ideas, through creativity. This could be through art, music, writing and poetry, dance and drama, photography and film, and doing activities that make you feel good. We hope to be able to collate photos, videos and any other media to create a whole school celebration of how we Express Ourselves. Please send any media to Mr Samuel (email@example.com).
Below you will find more information about the week in general along with a programme of activities to try in school and at home!
