At Walton on the Hill Primary School, we aim to promote personal well-being and development through a comprehensive taught programme of Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) education that gives children and young people the knowledge, understanding, attitudes and practical skills to live healthy, safe, productive and fulfilled lives, both now and in the future. Relationship & Sex Education (RSE) form a key part of our PSHE curriculum.
As a school, we use SCARF to plan and deliver our PSHE curriculum which aligns to the PSHE Association's programme of study, the National Curriculum and meets the new DfE statutory requirements. It consists of 6 core themes: Me and My Relationships, Valuing Difference, Keeping Myself Safe, Rights and Responsibilities, Being My Best, Growing and Changing.
