No day at Walton on the Hill Primary School can ever be described as a 'typical day' with all sorts of learning opportunities and changes to the timetable being made. However, we hope the information below will give you an idea of the main fixed events that take place on most days at school.

Our school is open from 8.45am - 3.15pm every day (32.5 hours a week). 

The school gate will open at 8.40am to allow parents and carers to bring their children calmly on to the school playground. The bell will be rung at 8.45am to indicate children can access their classrooms. Children must be in school by 8.55am.

From 8.45am each morning, pupils are encouraged to go straight to their classrooms to begin engaging in curriculum-based early morning tasks. These activities support key learning and provide a settled start to the day. We encourage all parents to bring their children in for this time to ensure they do not miss out on these valuable learning opportunities.

Morning Break - 10.30 - 10.50am

Infant Lunchtime - 11.45am - 12.45pm

Junior Lunchtime - 12.15 - 1.15pm

At the end of the day the gates will be open from 3.10pm and the children will come out from their classrooms at 3.15pm.
